Kichloo reviews development activities in Kishtwar KISHTWAR, JUNE 26- Chairing a high level meeting of District and Sectoral Officers of District Kishtwar Minister of State for Industries and Commerce and Home, Mr Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today asked the officers to fulfil their duties efficiently and achieve maximum developmental targets so that the general masses of district Kishtwar get full benefits of welfare programmes of the govt. The minister took a detailed review of core sectors including PHE, Power, R&B, CAPD and Health. The minister took serious note over the slow pace of work in WSS Naigad and directed X EN PHE to start full water lift scheme without any delay. Ex En R&B was directed to, immediately start work on Bus stand, main market road and other roads of periphery. He also directed ACR to release the compensation amount to affected people in a time bound manner.. The minister directed CAPD Deptt to ensure ration supply to whole distt and a deadline of 30th June was fixed in this regard. He also sought details from GREF authorities regarding the work on national highway and other roads. He asked them to rapair the drains that are leaking and creating problems for the people. The minister also took review of relocation of electric poles and other works of PDD. He directed the forest deptt to fulfil the local needs of timber on priority. Reviewing the tourism sector, he asked the deptt to expedite the installing process of LED lights from Malipeth to Kuleed Chowk and in Gulabgarh Padder. He also directed them to start work on Welcome Gates at the identified locations.
